last week I found out that one of my guy friends has cancer....here is the bulletin he posted on myspace. this guy is like best friends to 3 of my friends and a big brother to most of the fans of his band(Cycledown).
dear friends- As many of you may have read and heard i went in for a routine eye exam and while i was there they found a tumor that was located in my eye. after looking closer the doctors found after a biopsy that i have ocular melenoma (cancer for those of u who are like me and not that smart) located in my eye. because of the placement of the problem it is a very sticky situation about removing it they started me on the meds and treatments today for it and i will for the next 14-16 months recive a treatment to try and shrink and disolve the tumor. so i would ask that u would keep me in ur prayers as i face this and also pray for the financhial side of things that god would work out the issues i must face i pray u will stand with me through this i will be attempting to continue with everything i am presently doing so be in prayer for me Blessings Chris -------------------- "OMG it's you"-Dan

Oh man, that isn't good at all.. I'll definitely pray for him. That must suck.. I can't imagine going in for a typical eye exam and coming away with that. =\

I know he is doing a little better than then. at that point he wasn't really talking to anyone or wanting to be around anyone. he is still taking it really easy...and not doing many shows...but that is okay...as long as he is taking care of himself. he is still in need of money and stuff for it.
ALSO...I have another friend who needs prayer...he has been in and out of the hospital for the past like 5 years. he is back in the hospital. he has had problems with his stomach, lungs, heart, anything and everything pretty much. staph infections, blood clots...it is bad at points. I am really worried for him. he is 16 and his family is like a 2nd family to me. so please pray for him. his name is Taylor. -------------------- "OMG it's you"-Dan

I HAVE A PRAISE REPORT.
THE CANCER IS IN REMISSION. I think he found out about it yesterday. It was less than a year of treatments. I am so excited about it... -------------------- "OMG it's you"-Dan
